Reminiscence brings in me contentment. The land which we bought in Mysore in 1998 found to be very quiet, calm and suitable for the religious formation (seminary). When the construction of the house began people in the village started to enquire whether it is going to be a school. From there derived the inspiration to provide some basic education with right educational values to uplift the village students.

It was consulted with the superior general and they provided all the financial support and assistance to carry out the dream plan. In the year 2004 the dream was executed and a number of small kids began their formal education in our La salette Vidya Nikethan campus. During that time Holy family sisters from Hunsur joined to assist as the staffing faculty.

As the years passed this small seed sprouted and grown to its present there increased number of students and that demanded more facilities and more staff. Then it was discussed with Dorothean sisters that ended up with their landing in 2007. Presently 4 sisters are there to help and assist the school ministry.

All this was envisioned in the light of our charisam of reconciliation that provides quality education to the students.

I am greatly thankful to our Lady of La Salette for guiding and leading us to this point of time. I am excited to see the blessing of God over our institution. Many have worked hard to bring up this school mission to this present stage. May God continue to bless all our school activities and the school faculties.

It gives me immense joy and pride to address the students, parents, teachers and well-wishers of La Salette Vidya Nikethan and La Salette Central School. The pivotal role of education is the cultivation of the heart and mind. Education is complete when these two aspects or rather needs of man are fully met. Securing high grades and creating skilled individuals alone cannot create a happy and contented society. LSVN attempts to grow enlightened minds and equip them to be highly competitive in the world and help to shape resourceful persons of future.

Always remember that we are standing on the high place of dignity and discipline standing on this serene spot. We have to always look up and forward so that our journey to the future will be enlightened by the core values, those we always follow.

I pursue enormous contentment to express my feeling regarding La Salette Central School. La Salette Central School provide quality education and focuses on the all round development of their students in order to meet the challenges of the fast changing educational scenario at the national level. It also provides divers intellectual stimuli to the students in order to hone their analytical capabilities. It endeavors to inculcate the moral and ethical values in its students in order to create responsible citizens for the future who are also capable of becoming leaders in a competitive and professional environment.
